It has taken me a while to narrow this problem down. When I import any footage from the Osmo (.mp4, 29.97, 1080p), the timeline doesn’t refresh when I scrub it, zoom in and out or anything. If I play, it magically updates the timeline.
If I delete the Osmo footage from the project, everything refreshes fine.
It doesn’t matter whether I’m actually using the footage in a timeline or not. If it’s in the project, it’s not refreshing.

I’ve deleted the media cache and media cache files folder.

It’s not practical to convert these to a different format.

I suspect it’s the mp4 container. I’m going to switch the osmo to shoot .mov files instead, but that doesn’t solve the current issue.

Does the problem go away if you use a cineform proxy or play half resolution?
    Or software renderer?
    Uncheck h.264 acceleration?
