horizontal line problem
Greetings,
I searched this topic and found people having other horizontal line problems in their canvas that don’t quite seem like the one I’m having.
I have a quad 2.6 intel box with 4 gigs of ram.
Inside, I have 2 drives raided together.Problem occurred a few months back. Basically, both in my canvas an in my output card, I’m getting very strange horizontal “glitches” when am playing back in the canvas and the viewer.
The line changes color. Sometimes it’s a little black line. Sometimes yellowish. Sometimes in hte middle. Sometimes in the upper third. Sometimes in the lower third. And sometimes, it’s only half a line, or even 1/3 of a line.
That it is happenign through my output card as well makes me think it’s a bigger system problem. I have a aja Kona LE card, and I’m running Final Cut Pro 6.02 on 10.4.11.
Any advice greatly appreciated!

For troubleshooting, I’d take out the AJA card and uninstall the AJA drivers. Then see if it’s still happening.
Next, if you installed after market RAM, I’d take that out and see if it makes a difference.
