    Hi,

    I’m experiencing a weird problem in FCP7.

I use the mask effect to create vignettes by putting the same clip on two video layers and having different colour corrections on each. The mask and feathering creates the vignette and has always worked well.

Since upgrading to FCP7 I am experiencing a problem whereby previewing looks fine but on rendering one of the clips shifts horizontally and vertically so that the two images are out of alignment. I’ve seen this on at least two different machines so I’m guessing there’s a bug in the code. Has anybody else seen this and if so is there a solution?

    Cheers,
    Rob
