    I posted this in the normal AE forum, i don’t think i was to clear on what i was looking for, so i’ll try this again….my fault 😉
    I’m trying to make a logo “hop” around on screen (like a bunny), to a music beat, and it has to go for 18 minutes so setting markers might be a little tedious…….I’ve checked out some expressions that deal with random and randomseed, but i’m just not making sense out of it.
    any ideas?
    thanks

    For a piece that long, I think you’ll really want to take a look at Trapcode’s Sound Keys plugin.

    Okay, i’m trying out the sound keys plugin and liking the effect.
    There is one last problem i’m running into………I can’t figure out how to make the keyframes affect just the Y axis, i’m still new to expressions and a little lost here.
    thanks

    You could start with a position expression like this:

    temp = thisComp.layer(“Solid 1”).effect(“Sound Keys”)(“Output 1”);
    value – [0,temp]
