Hooking up Kona Lhe w/ breakout box
Hi.
First off-thanks for any help in advance.
I have to install an Lhe card, KL breakout box, and an HD Sony LMD2050W monitor.
The goal in the end, is to be able to view what is on the timeline in FCP on the sony monitor.
I hooked up the lhe card, and the breakout box and monitor. The box and the card are connected by SDI (3 bnc’s one in two out) and a 60 pin connecter. The software (AJA control panel) is also installed.
On the AJA Control panel I cannot seem to get it to recognize any video. All three inputs (SDI, Analog, and Ref in) all say “No video”
The truth is, I don’t know what I’m supposed to plug into the breakout box.
If you haven’t figured it out already, I’m a video amateur but I’m a mac expert if that’s any consolation.

Download and install the current driver versions for any and all hardware?

Sorry if I’m reading this incorrectly, but do you have anything plugged in to the inputs on your breakout box, like a deck or a black burst generator?
