Have you tried using the RotoBrush?
Is the shot too long to do a straight roto?
Can you post a still so that we can see how it looks like?

Thanks, I’ll try those to learn something new. 🙂
Sadly the Director choose to re-film the footage directly without Green Screen so there’s nothing more to do now, but something else came out and it’s even more difficult, it seems..

I’ll soon have the footage of an animated 3D Sphere (closer to a Soccer ball, I’ve been said) with some reflections in it, that will rotate and move in 3D space.

I’ve been asked to comp over it videos to then finish with one in full screen making it go on, like some News Channels over the world. I still don’t have the footage to work with or that I could show to you all, but I’d really love and I’d be grateful if we could start trying to think about something. A.E. works in 2.5D, and I’m unsure about how to move foward in this project. *mumble*
