None, conflict of interest rules. They might bring me a candy bar or soda if they’ve been out while I work.

We do only department-general holiday food gifts.

We try to be creative and client specific. For example, one of our largest clients is in the Pet industry. So Linda found out that Sprinkles Cupcakes (a nice “premium” brand) Not only does Cupcake baskets suitable for an entire corporate department but also has a line of DOG SAFE cupcakes so there’s something for both the people in the department AND their pets.

So we acknowledge the client group, never individuals. And we try to make it fun.

We tend to GET gifts from contractors (writers, designers, printers, narrators, etc). Today we got a huge platter of gourmet cookies. There is usually a tin can of caramel corn floating around the office this time of year, and today I got a cute little tin of hot cocoa from someone else. A Whitman’s sampler can’t be far behind unless the mailman gets to it first. Good thing I just had a filling last week, now I’ve got a clean slate!
