I want to recreate the look and feel of a neglected celluloid reel.

More specifically, I want to make my DV footage look like it was shot with a (theoretical motion-picture) Holga. Vignetting, color flares, light leaks, etc.

I have a rough idea what to do, but I’d love a few pointers to get it down efficiently.

    Thanks!

    Never heard of it.
But ArtBeats sells an entire CD/DVD of film effects. You can add these to your project and save yourself a ton of hassle. Better yet, find an old Bell and Howell spring-wound 16mm with a turret lens and go shoot your footage. Much more fun.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

I ended up moving in a different direction, since I couldn’t pull the Holga look off quickly and couldn’t find help.
    Sorry.
