hole punch effect
hello – is anyone aware of a plug-in that would replicate an effect similar to the “rip open” filter in photoshop – i have to animate a bullet punching through a letter O leaving a hole in the center with the inside peeling out (hope I’m describing adequetly)
any help is greatly appreciated –

You could do your bullet hole in photoshop. Or do a mask in AE and use the Roughen Edges…hundred ways to do that.
