  Hold “K” while pressing “K” and “L” to trim

  Having a strange issue that’s seemed to pop up out of nowhere in the last week or so.

  USUALLY while holding the K key while pressing L advances the playhead or trim tool forward slowly by one frame at a time.

  It seems like suddenly, holding K and pressing L actually advances by 3 frames at a time. Using K and J (to move or trim backwards slowly by 1 frame at a time) works just as well as it always has.

  It is possible that I’ve inadvertently changed a setting somewhere but I haven’t been able to pinpoint it. My AE hasn’t been able to figure this out either!

  Any help is appreciated!

  – Media Composer 8.9.4, Mac OS 10.11.6
