Is it possible to make an animation of imported png’s stop at the last frame? Or should I make a workaround by added 100 of the same frame in the end?

It could be nice to be able to control animation speed over life.

    Thanks in advance

In the Background Image options, make sure that the Hold Last Frame box is checked. If the box beside that is set to 0, it’ll hold forever, but you can change that as you need.

I was tired when I wrote it. I meant with particles. Is it possible to make an animated particle stop at the last frame? I.e. flowers growing, branches growing, etc.

If you animate the Number graph down to 0, that would stop new particles from being created. Though if they are moving, it won’t stop them in their place.

The only thing you can do is adjust the “life” property so that the particles die at the end of the sequence.

New particle shape sequence options are planned for 3.5, so this will be possible without having to tweak the life.

I have solved it with a workaround – animationspeed changes and stops. However the animation has to be made precisely for this method.

    Should I upload the file?
