Editing something here this morning, took a shot where I want to hold on the first frame. Did it on one shot, but now won’t do on another. Any idea why? I’ve rebooted, in case something was messed up.

I go to Frame Hold, Hold on In Point, click Okay, and nothing happens. I’m on the edit line where I should be, normally it would make a brown line appear above the shot meaning it needs to be rendered. But nada. When I check, it shows it *is* checked for the shot to hold on the first frame, but it won’t do it.

    Any suggestions?

Are you using a board like the DV Storm in your system?

You are correct. And I found that if I add any effect to the clip, the hold frame works. Temperamental, eh?
