HMC150 timecode starts at zero
Using either Sony Vegas Device Explorer or simply copying the files manually, each of my .MTS clips timecode starts at zero.
Changes settings in camera to free run, rec run, no change.
Transcoding using Cineform NeoScene doesn’t change anything. The timecode is zero before it opens it.
Viewing the clips in-camera in PB mode shows what appears to be proper timecode. It just doesn’t come over with the files.
Anyone else seeing this? Any solutions?
I called Panasonic on it and although the ticket is still open, their immediate answer was, “Huh. That’s weird.”

Update: I’ve updated the firmware to the latest, 1.20, no change. Called Panny back and am working the issue with them, still an unknown issue.
I’ve transferred the files via cable from the camera as well as by sliding the mem card into the slot in my PC, no change.
Anyone have an HMC150? Can I “borrow” at very short clip to see if your cam writes the data?
