  HMC150 Time Code

  Hello,

  My workplace recently acquired two HMC150 camcorders. We purchased them to take the place of our Mini DV camcorders. The biggest question that I have is whether or not there is a way to automatically clear the Time Code after clearing a card. If I recorded for 2 hours and transferred my files and cleared the card, it is still showing the TC of 2 hours. I’ve tried going through the menu to figure it out, but have had no luck. I changed the Display Setup to have the REC counter show the clip, but that didn’t do anything.

  I skimmed the manual and saw the part about setting the TC Preset. I had to go in that and change all of the numbers to ZERO in order to clear the time code. Is there an easier way to do this or am I stuck doing it manually every time?
