I have a DVX100B and can use this camera in slow shutter speed for a blur effect and also to shoot in very low light. Can the HMC150 do the same? I have read through the manual and cannot see how to do that. Any ideas.

Down to 1/15 of a second- sure. It’s in the manual- take a closer look for Slow Shutter.

Yes, I did see that you could go down to 1/15 of a second, but what I would like to do is go even further like 1/8 or 1/4. Is that possible?

I’m not positive but I think that may be it. One of the few things you give up for a less expensive cam.
