HMC150 Downconvert to SD
What’s the best format/program for down-converting the 1080i (ph files mode) to NTSC SD. I shot some blue/green stuff and captured ProRes422 in FCP and it looks excellent but render times are killer. For future reference I am just wondering what I can do to speed up render time and still retain quality. Anybody already doing this?

FCP is probably the best way to do that- faster render times would require a faster computer. You could also try MPEG-Streamclip or even the QT Player to do the encodes but that’s a lot of processing. Doesn’t go fast.
