Hmc-150 – HPX-170-HMC-40
I own a 150 and a 170. I just shot an indie film using both. We bought the 170 for the variable frame rate controls. I prefer to use the 150 because of the full raster codec and just over all ease of use. I don’t see any difference between the 150 and 170 in FCP (does anybody) Would I be crazy to sell the 170 (very low mileage) and get either another 150 or 2 HMC40s for B cameras. Somebody talk me out of this

I don’t think so- Panasonic really knocked it out of the park with the 150. Love that camera.

I use my 150 as my personal camera. I use the 200 and a 900 @ work.
Just finished a big project for my daughter’s catholic school. shot it on my days off. I would rather use my 150 any day of the week. LOVE THE LOOK!

I don’t have as much experience with the 170 as the 150, so I could be biased, but I really, really love the 150. Hmmm, can you sync 2 150s like you could a DVX100? I’m off to manual land…
