  Hitachi Waveform Repair Suggestions

  Just bought a V-099 Hitachi portable waveform on eBay. The guy said, “Sure, looks great, works great.” And of course the trace is so dim, it’s not usable.

  I’m assuming there’s a tweak inside to boost the intensity…anybody know if there is one, and if so where it might be?

  If not, how about a place to get old schematics for stuff like this.

  If not that, how about any other suggestions you may have.

  Any help is appreciated.
