Highlighting where media is used on timeline from media pool.
You can preview your projects media clips in the media pool but is there any way to click on a clip in the medai pool & have it highlight where the clip is on your timeline. I realize that this might not be possible since the media pool usage count is often wrong & even sometimes reports that every clip has been used twice when they definately haven’t been used. I’m using version 5. 0d.

think you’ll find usage 2 means video AND audio…..

View > Edit Details
You will see all the Active Take Names .
You can sort by any of the COLUMN headings to bring those times you need to the top.
There IS a SELECT tick box and this WILL select THAT event on the timeline.
You can sort the TAKES and just work with them to have these highlighted on the Timeline.
So not from Project Media but from Edit View. There is masses to use here!!

As leslie said, drag a clip to the timeline and you will see the usage count goes to 2. Delete the video OR the audio and it will drop to 1. So… ANY usage counts.

Right-click in the media pool and choose Select Timeline Events.

Ah! Of course!!! Me bad: Right Click and pick of the option … I was doing the a lot of the “opposite” yesterday.
