Highest Quality Output
I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get the highest quality video output possible in Vegas. I was thumbing through some of the Video Properties yesterday and noticed that I could change my resolution to well above the standard 740*480(I think) with 29.97 fps. I want to know what I need to do in order to get the quality of a DVD if I played it on my dvd player. Everything that I am importing into my media pool is at the highest quality. I want to maintain this quality when I render to either AVI (to add to another project later)and/or MPEG-2 with DVD Architect NTSC Template(For DVD). I realize the
higher end video properties have HD (Hi-Def) in front of the resolution, but I did render something in it and it came out find. Lastly, if there are any other options that I am missing please let me know. Thank You. -

Standard video is 720×480. You’re not gaining anything by changing those settings as it must be at 720×480 to send to DVD or VHS (assuming NTSC standards)
