I have just read an old thread (2007) about producing the best quality imagery from FCP to put on a DVD. The thread recommended File>Export>QuickTime Movie> untick self contained movie, then in Compressor, raise the quality settings.

I have a 55 minute DV wedding video with Motion graphics at the start that needs to be as high quality as possible to go onto a DVD.

Is this still the best way to produce the DVD?

    Thanks

    First of all.
Make sure your timeline is uncompressed or prores. This will benefit your text\ graphics.

It’s still Garbage in Garbage Out. Choose one pass CBR with a bit rate of 7.0.
