I am putting together a slideshow using Premiere pro made up of only still images. The stills were shot at 3702×2304. I am trying to get the best possible picture quality when viewed on a 1080p hidef TV. Unfortunately it will be played on a standard DVD player not Blu Ray. My questions are

    1) could I use the hdv1080p(1440×1080)preset to create and author the project. And would this give me the best overall quality.

    2) What problems if any should I expect if this project is viewed on a standard def TV through a Standard DVD player.

Thanks for any help you can offer- Carl

HDV will work fine. When you export for DVD from the HDV Project, you should chose a widscreen (16:9) setting. On a standard def DVD player on a Standard def TV you will get a letter box version. With a standard def DVD player on a widescreen TV it should play wide screen.

Thanks for the reply David. I’ll give it a try this weekend.
