  • Hide all Used clips in all Projects

My workflow often requires me to work with several projects in the same Event. Because sometimes I have a lot of source clips, I would like to know if there’s a way to hide all clips that have been used in ANY of my projects within that Event. Possible?

I know it’s possible to use Keywords to filter the browser results but I wonder if there’s a better way that doesn’t require me having to remember to assign the keyword every time I use a clip.

For example, if I click on the Event and then choose “Unused” from the browser drop down menu, it seems it only hides the clip(s) that are not being used in the currently open project.

    Thanks!

I don’t know of a way to do this across multiple Projects without some sort of work around with compound clips, or copying/pasting all projects in to a master Project.

Also, take a look at the Producer’s Best Friend app from Intelligent Assitance to generate a report for you if that helps.

Certainly interesting and worth putting in the “suggestion box”.
