I am editing a project I received and, unfortunately, can not reach out to the creator with questions. Maybe someone here is familiar with this workflow. I see darken clips in the timeline that are from a RED camera, but do not show up in the monitor. On another track is the same video, but have gone through Davinci.
I am just wondering why it is set-up like this and also how did they get the RED footage to be hidden.

Any insight is very much appreciated. I trying to use this to learn more about the way people work in Premiere.
    Thanks!

Sounds like he color graded the shots in DaVinci. The original ungraded shot is there underneath if you need to make changes.

You can enable/disable clips by right-clicking on them and toggling Enable.
