Agreed. Like I said, mp4 comes in lots of flavors (DivX, Xvid, etc.) and depending on what you used it may or may not be able to edit them. Give the trial a spin and see.

September 16, 2008 at 10:47 pmIm frustrated. =P
Isnt there any “cheaper” format for my videos than .AVI, cause they go from 50mb to 350mb, its just to much. I also got premire CS3 but seems like it doesnt work with them neither, vegas 8 couldnt find it.
Please, I know you have gave me a lot of advices, but could you tell me a working format for vegas 7 or 9 that doesnt “blow up” my files when I convert them.
Im using Total Video Converter, that Super C ware, I couldnt get it to work, hehhe. Thanks.

September 16, 2008 at 11:20 pmWhat is the SOURCE of your video? How/where did you acquire these piece of media? they’re obviously not standard file encodes. you really don’t need to be playing with all these codecs/conversions

September 17, 2008 at 1:24 amI downloaded them, they are very small chapters of a serie, the one I got them from converted them from 175MB .AVI to these 50Mb .MP4 files, I can post a pic og its properties if you like. I got vegas 8 and it doesnt work neither.
