HEVC mov format won’t render properly
Hi all,
I tried Vegas 14 rendering to the Intel HEVC 1920×1080-24p format, and it does render. I can see the video moving on the preview window during the render. However the .mov output file has no visual – only a black screen throughout. Main Concept .mp4 renders fine. I realize this must be a codec issue but how to fix? I have installed Quicktime for windows. The first time i tried rendering to HEVC, a message came up saying some codec (can’t remember which) was successfully installed. The file is as large as it should be for the content. Is it possible that I just can’t see it on my PC, but that my client’s mac will be able to use it?
Any suggestions appreciated.Edit: I tried the .mov file on my mac and error said Quicktime couldn’t play the file.
Second Edit: I was able to open and see the file properly rendered with the VLC media player! Jeez!Mary Waitrovich
