herky jerky zooms
Hi! I have some still images w/pan and zoom, but the video as it zooms in is far from smooth. Is this something that gets handled by increasing frame rate? I had it set at 30fps. What can I do?

Where are you previewing? Premiere’s Program window, DVD on a TV or a media player?

First in the Premiere program window, then exported to AVI and looked at it in Windows Media Player.

Images with thin horizontal lines, like brick mortar on buildings can play havoc with fields. Computer monitors also cant handle fields well like TV sets.
If your target is a computer monitor (web or local playback) then the video should be deinterlaced and not have fields. This occurs automatically during export to Windows Media Video and H264, but not to some Microsoft AVI codecs.
