help..whole project vanished!!!
Sorry to put a cry out like this, but I just had an FCP project, it’s archived copy and all associated autosaves vanish. The only trace of the project are the render files and the original media. I had the project backed up on another drive and teh autosaves on another. All the drives are intact, but the whole project has been systematically removed from my world.
Has anyone every heard of such a thing? Is there anyway to search through a “trash” record to see what has been deleted when? Everything was fine on Friday, and now…gone.
Staying calm, but losing my mind.

maybe look into disk warrior to retrieve if fcp did in fact delete them.
I had this happen with soundtrack pro.
If you go to export the file and quit before the audio level indicators do their “quick bounce” IT WILL delete the original video file.
Not sure if the fcs update fixed that or not.
