    Hi,
I need some help…I am an audio engineer trying to help the production on a recent shoot. The shoot was 4 HDX900 cameras, and the format was 24P……1 of the cameras recorded in 60P, and now they want to make that 24P. The raw footage will be edited in Avid. Can this be done? What is the best approach? Thanks,

    Mark

There are many ways to do this, all, in my opinion, yielding various degrees of bad.

What you are doing is dropping out most of the frames without the benefit of the adequate level of motion blur.

Your results will largely depend on how much action you were capturing; I fear you will have some difficulty in matching the footage with the other cameras.

    Best of luck,

    Leo

without the flags this is going to be really tough, possible with a varicam, not with the 900.

I would look into Teranex or an Alchemist system at your local post house.
