help with vanishing point export
Hi there,
I’m trying to export the VP data I created on a PSD file but I don’t have that option on menu inside the Vanishing point filter workspace…
I went back to the Photoshop main interface and can’t find that option under EXPORT either.
And that’s not my only problem. I’m trying to use the “option click” + drag shortcut to change the angle of a plane from its 90 degree default and that’s not working neither.
Am I missing something?
Btw, I’m using a full Professional CS3 package, with a Mac 10.4.8, Dual Quad…

It is in the submenu of the Vanishing Point window (when filer is running)
If you have the book Photoshop for Video… you can download a full tutorial from the book’s website

I am having the same problem as the original poster. I was trying to do a tutorial from this website when I discovered that when I click the submenu within the Vanishing Point window I do not have any export options.
I am running Photoshop CS3 on a Macbook Pro 2.33g Intel Core 2 Duo with 3gig Ram.
I tried reinstalling both After Effects and Photoshop but it has made no difference. The only options I have in the menu are:
Show Edges
Show Measurements
Render Grids to Photoshop
Allow Multi surface operations
Clip operations to surface edgesThe last two options are greyed out.
Hope someone can help!!

I am having this same problem myself. I’d like to use the features for After Effects. But, it turns out you need Photoshop Extended to be able to export to After Effects.

Ah so that is the answer. What is the point of giving out half a filter I wonder?
