OK…I’ve been doing a few projects here and there in X and just finished a music video using Multicam and its awesome. After that was done, I’ve updated to 10.0.6 now and it’s even more awesome! So…I can’t figure one thing out…when I add a transition to the end of a clip that’s connected to the primary, or even a secondary storyline, it affects the clip on the primary as well. You know…a title or something that I want to add a transition to affect it at the start or finish.

I know I read somewhere what to do to avoid it, but I can’t remember now. Can anyone help me out?

Add the clip(s) to a compound clip and add the transition within the compound.

Ok. I haven’t used compound clips much yet. Do you open the compound clip to do this?

    Yes.

Make a compund, open it, add the transition to the end of the clip, step back to the main timeline.
