  • Help with text wrapping

    Hi all,

Hopefully an easy question. I work with plenty of website URLs when I’m working with text on documentation.

Now what I find frustrating is the software wrapping lines of text, but breaking up URLs at one or the other of its component full stops. Is there a way (similar to stopping hyphenation which I know about) that allows me to stop the software from thinking that the fullstops in the URLs are natural breaks for wrapping purposes?!

    Thanks.

    You have two options.

    1) Force a URL line break. This is done manually with: Shift+Return

    2) Change the Language of the URL Text. Select the URL. Then go to the Control Bar and select your language–change it to “No Language”.

    Hopefully, this should help you.
