The latest card that I shot, I saved to a hard drive and then tried to import into final cut pro. It imported a few clips and then gave the error message “cannot complete the operation because some data in “009320.mxf” could be read or written (error code -36)”. I tried to then copy the card to another drive and to the desktop and received the same message. Can any one help with this problem?

Sounds like a corrupt clip. What you can do to check is put that card back into the camera (or copy the CONTENTS and LASTCLIP files onto a card first, and then put into the camera) and see if the camera can see the clip and play it back. If not, the clip is corrupt. If so…then something else. But try that first.

Are you working with the PAL model?
Did you do 720p with PAL frame rates?
