Help with model
I created this model in sketchup
Missile
It imports fine into invigorator pro for after effects
I can apply any of the standard materials to it.
But when I try to create a custom texture, like this
custom texture I can’t get the texture to appear.
I’ve tried applying the same texture to other models that I’ve downloaded from various 3D model websites and the texture works fine
So I assume it is a problem with my sketchup model.
Can anyone help -

Hi Ernie,
I believe the UV coordinates were not exported with your object.
I didn’t have a 3D program on my laptop to introduce some. But as the object is very simple I created it for you using custom edges including mapping at the right aspect ratio for each part of the rocket.
I would advise you to check on the Custom Edge file to learn how you could do it yourself next time.

I guess the free version of Sketchup doesn’t export UV coordinates
I’ll take a look at custom edges and see what I can design using InvigoratorErnie

You are welcome!
If you are not familiar with custom edges, check out my tutorial on this. Just remember that in the newest versions of Invigorator you need to save your custom edges to another location rather then the one stated in the tutorial.
