  Help with install Please

  I posted this on the Boris Cow but thought I might try it here as well. I am using FCP 5. My mac is not connected to the internet. I downloaded the 3.0.4 Boris update (to allow it to run on tiger) to disc and inserted into cd drive on my G5. When I click on the updater app it states that “There is no default application to open the document “RED3_3.0.4_Updater.app.sit”. There is a Choose Application button available. If I choose Boris Red 3.0, only Documentation is availble from there. If I choose Documentation, there is nothing available. Please help with this installation if possible.
