  help with injesting p2 on FCP6 on a G4

  I know G4s don’t like to ingest data from a p2 card in FCP6 very well, but I usually get to unload at least 1 card before I have to restart my G4. I am trying to ingest a small clip from an 8GB P2 card and have restarted the G4 numerous times and can’t let the log and transfer window to see the card. It mounts in my G4 and I even have contents, but I need to pull this footage soon.

  Any suggestions? I don’t have my HVX with me to do it internally.

  G5, 1.7, 4MB RAM, 30″cine, G4, 1.6 2MB RAM, Mbox, Neumann TLM-103, FCP HD 5. Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Reason 3.0, Macromedia Studio, ProAnimator, HVX200 with Firestore v4.0
