Help with Hissing Audio
I have audio that was shot at a very low level. When I increase the level to match the rest of the project, that audio has noise or a “hiss.” Is there a program that could help remove that hiss? If so, how do I go about doing it in that program?

Sound Forge with Noise reduction is your best bet.
Avid Audiosuite is your second choice – normalize the audio, then apply a hiss EQ in the EQ tool…
