Help with DVCProHD!
Posted by Jeff Gural on November 27, 2006 at 9:49 pmWe are on a location edit with a rental AJ-HD1400. We can capture fine from it, but when we can’t get it to spit back out through the firewire. We get an error 14. We are shooting and capturing in a 720p 60fps sequence. Any tips?
Thanks,
Jeff

November 27, 2006 at 10:25 pmThanks for the pointer. I’m just new to this deck and there are about 70 options to choose from in the menu. I can’t figure out what is not set right.

November 28, 2006 at 2:51 pmI don’t recall which menu setting it is, but you can change the data rate of the Firewire port on the deck. Make sure it’s set to 400.

November 29, 2006 at 3:14 amI solved my issues. For future reference to those in need, there is a table at the Panasonic site which lists all the menu settings you need.

They’re also all in the back of the manual. I’m assuming the rental house didn’t give that to you?
