    Hello everyone,

I’m in a bit of a bind here. I have only basic Premiere editing skills, and virtually no experience doing color correction. I’ve got an urgent project at work where we need to match the colors and brightness of some footage to something that was already output by somebody else.

Can one give me some ideas of how to match these two images? I’ve been trying (and trying and trying!) using a bunch of different effects, but just can’t seem to find the right ones.

    I exported 2 frames to demonstrate –

    The Goal

    and

The New One I’d like to make look like the goal

Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!

    Daniel

White balance the upper right corners of the second clip where the original is blown out.

Email me the two screen shots. I could not grab them off of Flickr – I think they figured out how to block even a Printscreen. Use the email address from my web site at https://www.stevengotz.com

After the white balance, raise the gamma of the problem clip. That should get you pretty close.
