    Hi,

I’m developing the Debugmode Frameserver for Premiere Pro CS4 and looking for a few users to help with beta testing before release. If you use Premiere Pro CS4 on a regular basis, would like to test the frameserver with your current projects and provide quick feedback – please email me or post a reply to this thread.

    Thanks in advance
    Satish

I don’t have much expertise in beta testing but I think you should make the beta available on your website, beta testing is designed to rid the bugs so get as many people debugging as you can. Great work by the way If your a successful, this is something us Premiere pro lovers having been waiting for since CS3. Keep up the good work

    Hello,

I’m not sure that the previous re-post was OK.
    Then I repeate:

I would like to help you test the beta version of the frameserver for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.

    How can we do?

Thank’s a lot for your previous work, and the work you’ll make.

    Cordialement (I’m french).

    Good suggestion.

The beta version can be downloaded from https://frame-server.googlecode.com/files/fssetup-beta.exe . Please install as usual, it should detect if you have Premiere Pro CS4 and choose the right install dir so that the plug-in appears in both Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder. Please reply here on how it worked for you, whether it worked fine or if you saw issues.

Note: You may see a ‘a newer version is available’ notice in the Frameserver UI, please ignore that 🙂

Worked like a charm with Avisyth and the HC encoder.
    Encoded HDV footage to 720×576.

    Hello,

I try the new Frame server on a new installation of Abobe Premiere Pro CS4.

For your information I’ve adobe premiere pro CS3 to installed on my PC.
The file “dfscPremiereOut.prm” (35.0 Ko) is in the folder “C:/Program Files/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore”.

    I try with Premiere CS4 4.0 and 4.2.

What can I do to make you understand what’s happen?

    Hello,

    The frameserver works well.
The problem is that the speed is very slow compare with the same project encoded in CS3 with the old frameserver.

I don’t know if the problem comes frome CS4 or the frameserver, but in all cases the path of the video encoding process is very long now :
The video files on the Hard Disk -> Adobe Premiere -> Adobe media coder -> the frameserver -> avisynth -> the encoder (megui or staxrip).

Some thing strnge is that my CPU (Quad core Q9300 is at 35% and the RAM is at 50% (2 Giga on 4).

I’ll do other tests in the week.

    See you later…

I can start the FS but when the encoder wants to take frames, the error occure.

I try to re-install the FS, Premiere CS4. But nothing works.

I have the same thing. Export – Debugmode Frameserver (only export video option is available by the way). And then it launches Media Encoder. If I press start – it closes with an error.
Has anyone found out the way to overcome this?
