    Hi all,

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere already but I haven’t been able to find anything so far.

I’m setting up for a 1080/24p HDCAM conform using Kona LH/e (drivers ver 3.4) in FCP 5.1.4 and cannot get the capture offset calibrated. The closest I’ve got is 1 frame – adjust that by 1 frame or 0.5 and it ends up as 2 the other way.

Intriguingly I can get the timecodes bang on using Capture Now – but if I batch or Capture Clip I’m off by one frame. Not much use for conforming!

Has anyone seen this issue before? Are there any fixes short of rebuilding the machine???

    Thanks very much in advance

What’s your reference set to? Do you have trilevel sync?

    Ok
to make sure you are talking about the capture offset in
    AV settings > Device control?

My Device control settings for 23.98 layback are
    -1.5 for the capture offset
    +00:00:00:01 for the playback offset

try uninstalling the AJA drivers and reinstalling and make sure you are using QT 7.1.6
