  Help! Vegas Pro 8.0 mp4 Render Problem

  Hey there. Just wanted to see if I could get some help on a problem I’m having with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. I’ve always rendered videos in wmv format but have recently been doing quicktime 7.0 & mp4 formats as well. My problem is with the mp4 renders.

  It seems that they’re freezing up while rendering, and it’s getting annoying. They freeze either in the middle of one of the mp4’s or at the end, in other words at the 49% completed mark or the 99% mark. Sometimes its the 2048k one or the 1024k, and even the 512k, etc., doesn’t matter which. I’m pretty sure it’s only happened during the mp4s, not quicktime or wmv.

  ANY ideas why this would happen? I’m using Veggie for this. Here’s an error message I’ve received before too:

  (Instruction at “0x023677d3” referenced memory at “0x021f4f0c” Memory could not be “read”.

  Also with mp4’s and batch render there are small black bars at the top & bottom of the vid, we don’t THINK we can get rid of this on batch, is that right?
