Help! Trying to export AI layers into psd…
Can anyone help me with this? I need to take files built in layers in ai and export them to psd. When I do this, psd combines some of the layers and I cant separate them. Am I doing something wrong? I’m a little desparate because I have a lot of files to transfer.. if anyone knows how to fix this, your help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance,

Hello Jennifer,
I’m not sure why you posted this in the After Effects forum.
If AI stands for After Effects instead of Illustrator then under the composition menu>Save Frame as Photoshop Layers.
Often I open an Illustrator file in After Effects as a composition and Save Frame as Photoshop Layers as described above.
If you don’t have After Effects and this doesn’t help, try the other forum (Photoshop/Illustrator).
