HELP! Speed problems when exporting
Hi everyone. I’m still very new to final cut pro and i have a problem with some of my clips.
When i imported my clips into the program and then put them onto the timeline, the clip was out of synch with the audio. I can only assume because the frame rate was i think 38 fps (i know! an odd number but that’s what it was) and the timeline was 24 fps.
Anyway… i changed the speed of the image so that they synched perfectly with the audio when previewed in the viewer.
However…as soon as I exported it as a quicktime movie the image is too slow again but the audio is correct. It’s the same when i render the whole piece.
So i thought i could just change the speed of the video image back to 100% but it keeps coming up with the message ‘a conflict occured during a trim operation.’ I read on other forum that i should move this clip to the end of the timeline and it should work. Is this true?
Please, please, please help! (i need an answer within the next 12 hours)
Thanks!
