I’m new to Vegas so I have no clue what’s going on. Everytime I export my video, my sound clips I used don’t work. Can someone help me?

What format are the sound clips?

What format are you trying to export to? (by “export” i assume you mean “render”)

MP3 files should be fine regardless of what format you are rendering to. As an experiment, try rendering just the MP3 file to WAV and then use the WAV file in your project and see if that works. I’ve used lots of MP3 files in my projects and have never had any problem rendering.

    Erik-

What do you mean that they don’t work? I have used .mp3s all the too, and not had problems.

Is it just not there? Or is the audio distorted/corrupted??

If you go to “render as” and don’t change any settings the audio should render out with the video automatically; but you can go in to the custom settings and not render out the audio. It could be possible to have the audio unchecked from a previous render and if you don’t change it back, it could keep ignoring your audio.

Do you hear other audio and just not the MP3’s? or is there no audio at all?

Wow, that is strange! Try rendering the MP3’s to WAV files and see if that fixes the problem. I can’t imagine why it’s not working though.
