HELP! Recording a mono track
Im trying to record a voiceover with a single mic and im having trouble getting it to work. I can record but the volume is different out of each speaker. It records my voice at different volumes.

I’m not sure. Is the mic mono or stereo? Either way, the sound should be even. If it’s a mini-plug sometimes just spinning the plug inside the jack can improve a bad connection.
Depending on your sound card, you may have an advanced interface. If so, check it to see if the sound card is registering the signal properly. If the card isn’t showing a proper signal, that could be where the issue is.
Usually this sort of thing is a hardware issue.Vince
