HELP! Pan/Crop doesn’t go to edge…

Thanks for the help, but in Vegas 7 there’s no such command.
There’s one about Aspect Ration, which fixes the problem, but it also causes my pictures to change their size, forcing me to manually resize them.

Any other ideas? Thanks!

Yes there is. I use it all the time! (Actually I usually do it via a script but the manual command IS still there).

Add the picture to the timeline, open the Pan/Crop dialog, right-click the image in the Pan/Crop dialog, and choose “Match Output Aspect”. You’ll have to zoom back out on the image but the edges will expand or contract as you change the zoom level now.

Ouch! Yep, I see it now, I was looking at all of the options on the left and didn’t think about right-clicking.
Along that same line, though, is there a setting somewhere to make this the default?
Or do I just need to make sure all my pictures conform to my projects Aspect Ratio? (ie… 720×480 movie, so all pics have this ratio)?

I just add all the images to the timeline, select them all, and then run a script that will fix them all at once.
