  • Help On Lens Flare Effect On White Background

I have a line animating and drawing an image with paths from Illustrator. The line is black and the BG is white.

Does anyone know how I would make the leading part of the animation have a bright blue, star like (lens flare) effect?

I tried the effect with a white line and a black BG and it worked fine. I also tried all the different layer modes.

It is possible, even with something else (another plugin perhaps) that would achive this effect on a white BG?

    Thanks,
    Bryan

Does it still work when you invert the black background version that you did?

Thanks, that did the trick, did not even think about that one.

It does kind of loose it’s effect, but using some color balance brings it back some.

You can apply the “unmult” effect to the lens flare layer as well. It’s a free effects from Knoll.
