Help! No video playback in Xpress Pro, only on client monitor.
I am running Avid Xpress Pr on Windows XP Pro. I have a millennium matrox G550 dual head card and have just switched to running on one monitor a the second one is toasted. I am getting video playback on the NTSC client monitor but only audio playback on the computer monitor, although I can scroll through the video in the time line and it is all there. I have designated the monitor as primary monitor as I know this card only allows one monitor to play video. When I activate the green button that allows you to see all rendered effects in real time and try to play video, I get the error:
An ACCESS_VIOLATION exception occurred. For more information see the error log:C:\Program Files\Avid\Avidxpress Pro\AvidFatalErrorReports\Exception_2008.10.02_16.53.09
Then i hit OK and get his message
Exception: Structured Exception, ExceptionCode:0xc0000005, ExceptionString:ACCESS_VIOLATION, FaultAddress:0x7f28ff
PLEASE HELP!!!
