Help needed with ‘How to make a crowd’ in Particular.
Hi there!
I’m using Particular to make a huge crowd using the tutorial from the trapcode website.
my problem is that i’m getting ‘crowd’ popping up well into my animation.
i have key framed my particles/sec from 0 – 2000 in the first sec but still getting popping up at around 5 secs…
also, this might be a stupid question but how do i affect overall density of the comp ( the amount of crowd) ?? this might be a really stupid question but i’m struggling!!

Hi Neil,
I agree with you, using Particular to do that kind of thing can get fairly tricky. While it CAN be done in Particular, I would suggest using Trapcode Echospace for this kind of thing instead, it’s exactly what it’s designed for. There’s a free demo on the Trapcode site. Hope that helps, let us know how it works out.
